The youth group at Faith United Church of Christ spent the weekend of April 23-24 fighting hunger "On an Empty Stomach" as part of World Vision's 30-hour famine. Students used the opportunity to raise money to help feed and care for hungry children and their families worldwide. Additionally, the group camped out in cardboard boxes on the church's lawn and participated in service projects for Manatee Children's Services.

Hundreds of students and adults walked the red carpet and danced the night away during Faith Christian Church's second annual special needs prom April 23. The theme of this year's prom was "Night with the Stars." Guests enjoyed music, dancing, games, refreshments and more.
