Lakewood Ranch High School students donned costumes for each day last week as the school celebrated its Homecoming. Dress-up days included a Class Bash Sept. 21, Tacky Tourist Sept. 22, Music Sept. 23 and Rancher or Spirit Day Sept. 24.
RBC Bank master key machine stolen

Manatee County Sheriff's Office detectives are searching for the suspect who stole a key machine containing a master list of the keys to all the banks in Florida.
Celebration of Cultures

Dozens of preschool children dressed in homemade costumes paraded around Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch Town Center for the school's annual Celebrating Cultures Day Sept. 25. The children celebrated a number of different cultures across the globe, including Colombia, Holland and Japan, among others. Following the parade, the students joined hands in a unity circle and sang "It's A Small World" before breaking off into their specific classrooms for a cultural celebration.
