Manatee County Government announces Thanksgiving closures

Manatee County Government offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23 in observance of Thanksgiving, according to a press release.
In other changes, Nov. 22 trash collections will be made Nov. 23 and Friday’s collections will be made Nov. 24.
All libraries will be closed Nov. 22 through Nov. 24, while G.T. Bray Recreation Center will be closed Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.
Also, fixed route Handy Bus service and the Longboat Key Trolley will be suspended Nov. 22, and will resume Nov. 23.
Manatee County’s parks, beaches and preserves will remain open through the holiday.
