A local exchange program is hoping East County families will put the gift of friendship under their Christmas tree.
CASE Exchange Student Programs is looking for families to host two teenage foreign exchange students from January to June.
The two students needing host homes are from Liechtenstein and Germany and are both 16 years old.
The students will have their own pocket money, full medical insurance and have expressed a desire to learn about the American culture. Host families would provide room, board and a chance of a lifetime for their family and the exchange student.
CASE would like to have host families identified by the first week of December to allow time for the host family and their selected student to begin corresponding before arrival.
