RSVP Manatee celebrated the opening of its new office inside the Manatee County American Red Cross building during a special grand opening event from 3-5 p.m., Oct. 9.
RSVP Manatee is a program of Senior Friendship Centers and Friendship Volunteer Center that partners individuals who are 55 years old and older with local community service opportunities.
Currently, RSVP Manatee is organizing Make a Difference Day 2009, which will be held Oct. 24. Groups and individuals are asked to participate in more than 75 service projects throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
