School Board set to approve interim superintendent

Members of the Manatee County School Board are expected to hire David Gayler as interim superintendent and also to hear updates from a district budget audit committee tonight at the board's regular meeting.
The board also is slated to hear reports and presentations from the Central Florida School Boards Coalition and on the permanent superintendent search.
The meeting starts at 5:45 p.m. in the district's administrative building, 215 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.
