- There have been numerous reports of vehicles being burglarized in and around this area. By now, one should know not to leave valuables in their car or truck. I'm not so sure it's wise to even lock a vehicle. If you don't want to take a chance on someone breaking the glass, then go through the hassle of having it repaired, then don't lock it. A couple of years ago my car was broken into. I never leave anything valuable in the car, except for some pocket change in the cup holder, so the thief left practically empty handed. After filing a police report, the officer suggested I leave the car unlocked in the future.
