Homes sales are up for Manatee County Realtors.
In April, the Manatee County REALTORS filed 68.2% more single-family home contracts than in January, up to 471 contracts from 280.
On a local level, data shows that “under contract” homes are at the highest they have been for more than a year, a possible indicator that the housing market is making a turn.
In April, Manatee County reported 304 total sales, up from 234 in January. Additionally, of those homes, 66% were either bank-owned, foreclosures or short sales, a steady decrease from previous months.
