Deputies arrested a 19-year-old Bradenton man early this morning. Police have been investigating several vehicle break-ins in the GreyHawk Landing subdivision.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office said in a news release there was not enough evidence to link the man, Ryan Price, to the burglaries, but he faces charges of loitering and prowling.
Deputies responded to GreyHawk at roughly 4:30 a.m. to a report about a suspicious vehicle.
A security guard said he saw Price run away from the vehicle when Prince saw the guard.
Deputies could not find the suspect.
As they watched the car, Price returned to it and got inside.
Deputies stopped him.
During a search of the area, deputies found several vehicles had been burglarized and personal items stolen.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information can call the sheriff's office at (941) 747-3011 or Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
