  • A few points...1. To compare McKechnie's Budweiser signs to a little leave park is flawed. Major leaguers would never have chain link fences in the same manner as little league parks. Does the county propose putting padding airline the fields similar to McKechnie? 2. Sign placement toward a.parking area has been allowed at GT Bray for years. These signs last longer, are larger and more colorful , and last longer. The county has thrown numerous obstacles hoping ONE will stick. Is it placement can move), screws (can replace) or material (a player running into a fence will cause greater harm. The one argument that will stick is the county not wanting a.park to become a commercial advertisement. With a $32,000 light bill, the league can always charge $500.00 registration fee. I find it ironic the answer is to cater to out of town players in a tournament versus taking care of our own residents. Remember this come election time.

  • When will they stop calling them metal signs? The signs are made of plastic! The 2003 sign code is out of date. In 2003 the Little League did not have a Light cost. The sign technology of today make them safe.
