The Big Cat Habitat is well under way with its largest fundraiser of the year, Animal Extravaganza:
Two entertaining and educational animal demonstrations featuring performers from around the state will participate in this year's extravaganza. Show times are 1:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, through Feb. 24. Gates open at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m, respectively.
Included in the demonstrations are the habitat's own lions and tigers, as well as camels, an Adalusian stallion and others.
This weekend's performance also includes a new guest — a 29-year-old Asian elephant with perfectly-crossed tusks.
Admission for the shows is $18 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under.
