Manatee authorities name suspects in burglary case

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has identified two suspects for a string of vehicle burglaries in the Lakewood Ranch community of Central Park last week.
Adam Almengual, who was stopped on an unrelated charge on Jan. 25, confessed to committing the burglaries. He was charged Thursday night with six counts of burglary. A juvenile also is considered a suspect, but was not named in a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report.
Six vehicle burglaries were reported in Central Park Jan. 20.
