Manatee County Public Schools Superintendent Tim McGonegal is a finalist for eSchool News' national Tech-Savvy Superintendent award.
eSchool News is a monthly print and digital newspaper that covers education technology in all its aspects.
Although McGonegal was not named the recipient of the award, he considers the acknoledgement an honor.
“It’s nice to know that this national publication recognizes some of the important strides the Manatee school district has made in the area of education technology,” McGonegal said. “This is not really about me. It is really about the great work being done everyday by students and employees across the district."
