The Racing Dog Rescue Project will showcase greyhounds available for adoption during the organization’s first adopt-a-thon event this Saturday.
The event will run from noon to 3 p.m., Jan. 16 at the organization’s adoption center, 1801 Verna Road, Sarasota. Attendees can meet dogs available for adoption and fill out necessary paperwork for starting the adoption process.
Due to the rescue’s adoption policy, no dogs will be adopted out that day.
