Attention all Manatee and Sarasota residents interested in improving the area’s transportation network. The Sarasota-Manatee Metropolitan Planning Organization now is taking applications for its Citizen Advisory Committee, which makes recommendations to the MPO on transportation planning issues and needs.
The voluntary advisory board comprises 27 Manatee and Sarasota residents.
Meetings are held at 6 p.m., the first Thursday of each month, at the MPO offices at Airport Commerce Center, 7632 15th St. E., Sarasota.
Applications are due Dec. 22 and can be viewed at www.mymanatee.org/advisory_boards or by calling 745-3700m Ext. 3707.
