The Viking Culinary Center on Lakewood Ranch Main Street today is closed.
The storefront, which offers cooking classes, sales of Viking appliances and other products and hosts private events, opens daily weekdays at 10 a.m. At 10:30 a.m., the doors were locked and lights were out.
The East County Observer was unable to confirm if the center has closed permanently.
Owner Jim Butler and representatives of Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, which owns Main Street, did not immediately return inquiries.

I recently bought a friend a $100 gift certificate for a friend at the Viking Culinary School. I guess it is no good now that Jim Butler has decided to go bust with the school. Took my money knowing it was going bankrupt!!
