East County parents and their children can meet with representatives from more than 100 universities, colleges, vocational/technical schools, community colleges and military academies during the Post-Secondary Education Night and High School Academy Showcase.
The event, hosted by the Manatee County School District, will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Oct. 25, at the Manatee Convention Center, One Haben Blvd, Palmetto.
Additionally, families can learn about specialized academies offered by local high schools in the area and other opportunities.
Admission is free and all Manatee County middle and high school students and parents are invited to attend.
