Friends and family of seven local youth injured in a vehicle crash Sept. 8 will gather Saturday night to pray for the teenagers, including one who remains in critical condition at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
A candlelight vigil wil be held at 8 p.m. Sept. 15, at Journey Assembly of God, 3855 Pro Am Ave., Bradenton.
On Sept. 8, four vans from Journey set out for Rock the Universe, a worship concert in Orlando. The tire of one of the vans blew out, causing the vehicle to flip. Seven youth were transported to hospitals.
Three youth were treated and released, three remained overnight at the hospital for observation and and one remains in critical condition with a head trauma.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
