Braden River and Lakewood Ranch high schools will kick off their 2010 regular seasons in round four of the East County's biggest rivalry at 7:30 p.m., tonight, at Lakewood Ranch, 5500 Lakewood Ranch Blvd.
Braden River is 3-0 in the series.
Both teams won their Kickoff Classic contests last week. Braden River lost several key players to graduation last year and is under the leadership of new coach Don Purvis. Lakewood Ranch has a dangerous veteran QB in Reggie Lindsey and contained a tough opponent in Sarasota last week. On paper, it appears this is Lakewood's best shot at defeating its East County rival.
