TideWell Hospice has welcomed David Lafferty as its new executive vice president and chief information officer.
Lafferty brings his background in infrastructure and operations management, global information technology and project management, among other skills, to his new post.
“TideWell makes an impact in the community every day, and I find it personally rewarding to be affiliated with an organization that truly sets the example in providing such valuable services in the community,” Lafferty said.
Lafferty said he was excited to return to Sarasota, where he was born, with this wife, Michele, and daughters, Emily and Samantha.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
