Manatee County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested three 14-year-old boys in connection with a rash of burglaries in Mill Creek on June 10.
According to sheriff's office reports, a deputy responded to a burglary call on the 800 block of Springwood Circle in Greenfield Plantation at about 5 p.m., July 28. Suspect(s) had broken the front window of a vacant home, entered it and unlocked all the doors and opened the windows. From that call, the deputy developed leads on three suspects. Each was tracked down in separate areas of Manatee County.
In a subsequent interview, one of the juveniles confessed to the Mill Creek vehicle burglaries. His mother had found several electronic items of high value in his room, and the boy admitted he had stolen them from vehicles in Mill Creek, the report stated.
The electronic equipment was placed into property under MSO 09-38487.
The names of the three juvenile suspects have been withheld.
