Lakewood Ranch’s newest community will open this weekend to the public.
Central Park, which is located between Malachite Drive and 44th Avenue on the east side of Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. July 17 to July 18.
From noon to 4 p.m. both days, there will be volunteers in the kiosk to hand out Frisbees and beverages.
There also will be a popcorn machine and lemonade stand, face painting for the children and other activities at that time.
Home prices are starting at just under $127,000, a price that has not been seen for new construction in Lakewood Ranch since the 1990s.
