Manatee County is seeking to fill a vacant seat on its Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, a group that helps county commissioners decide on affordable housing issues.

The committee meets from 3-5 p.m., on the second Monday of each month at the Manatee County Administrative Center, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.

Applicants for the vacant seat must be actively engaged in the banking or mortgage industry in connection with affordable housing.

Applications are due July 24 and can be found at www.mymanatee.org/advisory_boards.
