Capturing moments with your smartphone is a must during holidays. This Fourth of July, the Observer is encouraging community members to capture moments and then use the hashtag #observer4th when posting photos to social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine.
Children smiling with sparklers, American flags, Independence Day barbecues, fireworks or just a selfie of you and your friends in patriotic attire are all encouraged to remember the celebration.
Community members can then view Independence Day photos from throughout Sarasota by clicking the hashtag #observer4th on social media sites. You may just see your #observer4th photo in the July 11 issue of the Observer!
