Lakewood Ranch Main Street is gearing up for its monthly Music on Main concert tonight from 6-9 p.m.
West Coast band The Distractions will hit the stage, playing songs from the 1970s through the new Millennium.
Tonight's event will benefit All Children's Hospital Guild Sarasota/Manatee through food and beverage sales. The Hospital Guild's goal is to enhance the quality of care and availability of services primarily for the children of All Children's Specialty Care of Sarasota, as well as All Children's Hospital.
Other Music on Main activities include face painting and caricature drawings. Florida Blood Services also will be on hand to take blood donations.
Guests are welcome to bring chairs, but are asked not to bring coolers. Dogs must be kept on a short leash.
