Wellness Concepts of Florida is welcoming a new doctor to its team.
Dr. Toni Grossenheider will provide chiropractic care to patients of all ages offers chiropractic adjustments, including specific evaluation for pregnancies, and saliva testing for hormone balancing.
Grossenheider has been in private practice and has also served as a clinic director and faculty member at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Mo., where she instructed students during their internship in an outpatient clinic setting. Her faculty appointment included teaching the diagnosis of women’s conditions and treatment protocols using chiropractic and alternative care for women in all phases of life. She was a member of Logan’s Learning Resource Committee, participated in the making of educational and public relations DVDs, and was an advisor for student research projects.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
