Manatee County Sheriff's Office detectives and the medical examiner currently are investigating the death of a Heritage Harbour man.
According to sheriff's office reports Ronald J. Koett, 62, was found May 31 inside his home on the 7700 block of Camden Harbour Drive. A neighbor, Robert Morrison, went to check on Koett because he hadn't been seen in a few days. When he went to the house, Morrison discovered Koett lying on the kitchen floor. He was visible from the front door window.
No overtly suspicious circumstances were observed on scene. The medical examiner is following up with a case investigation.
