Freeman and Darlene Davison came to watch their granddaughter, Taylor Ivey, 17. -
Kathryn Hart, right, with friends Ashley Harding and Elizabeth Harrison, said she was looking forward to the future. -
Shaza Hussein, Amanda Tappan, Laura Morales and Mariana Tolosa all graduated in the top 10%. -
English teacher Mandy Kersey grabbed a picture with her daughter, Julia. -
The ceremony began at 7 p.m. -
Stephanie Rice, Celeste Reid and Amy Robinson are excited about starting college. -
Lauren Voight, Abby DeCou, Jamie Bardwell and Alicia Bazo were all speakers at the ceremony. -
Assistant Principal Tom Zellars congratulated 18-year-old Austin Burnett.

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
