Six East County businesses were charged with selling/serving alcohol to a person under 21 during a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office underage drinking operation May 15.
According to sheriff’s office reports, the Hess stations at 11002 S.R. 64 E. and 8406 S.R. 70 E; the BP station at 7305 S.R. 70 E.; the Shell station at 7205 S.R. 70 E.; and the Circle K stations at 5913 S.R. 70 E. and 6886 15th St. E. all sold alcohol to juveniles.
In addition to the six in East County, 10 in North Manatee and another eight in west Bradenton also were charged.
