Main Street Lakewood Ranch soon will have a new anchor tenant.
After a deal with Ada’s Natural & Organic Foods fell through several months ago, Lakewood Ranch Commercial Realty has secured a lease with Good Earth Natural Food Store. The deal was finalized Thursday.
“It’s exciting,” corporate president and founder Mark Egan said. “We have always talked about going into a location farther out east because of the development and the quality of developments that are coming out in that area.”
Good Earth, which opened its first store in 1978, offers bulk foods, natural food groceries, a selection of gluten-free items, herbs and supplements, among other items.
The company has three stores in Bradenton, including one on State Road 70.
