The East Manatee Republican Club will hold a special forum on education May 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Peridia Golf and Country Club, 4950 Peridia Blvd.
Panelists will discuss the struggles currently facing Manatee’s educational system.
Participants include George Kenworthy, a retired principal; Karen Malesky, a retire teacher; David Miner, an attorney and former Manatee County School Board candidate; and Bob Gause, a member of the Manatee County School Board.
Rosedale resident Clint Miller, vice president of the EMRC, will serve as moderator for the event.
