The East County Observer caught up with students in Jennifer Scheid and Ellie Dauphas’ third-grade class at Freedom Elementary School to learn about their favorite subjects.

John Robinson, 9

What’s your favorite subject and why?

“Reading because then we get to take an AR test and see what our grades are after we read the book.”

Ashley Cole, 9

What’s your favorite subject and why?

“Reading because I think it’s kind of cool. It’s almost like when you read it it comes to life if your brain and it’s kind of like you’re doing it.”

Cody Coleman, 9

What’s your favorite subject and why?

“Math because we’re learning division.”

Austin Quinn, 9

What’s your favorite subject and why?

“Math because I like the multiplication patterns with the zeros where there are hundreds on the top and two numbers on the bottom.”

Bree McCallister, 9

What’s your favorite subject and why?

“Reading and writing because I think when you write an autobiography you get to express yourself.”
