Tomorrow, former Congresswoman Katherine Harris, will speak about one of the biggest events the Bradenton-Sarasota region has hosted, of which she serves as the chairwoman.
The Manatee Chamber of Commerce invites the public to a breakfast and informative meeting about the Modern Pentathlon World Cup Finals, from 7:45 to 9 a.m., April 22, at the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, 4215 Concept Court, Lakewood Ranch.
The Pentathlon will be held in June at the Sarasota Polo Club in Lakewood Ranch.
Pentathletes achieve performance-related points in: fencing; 200-meter freestyle swimming; 12-obstacle show-jumping equestrian contest; 3,000-meter run; and pistol shooting.
The cost for the information session is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members.
