More than 30 volunteers turned out Saturday to help beautify the Braden River.
Members of the Old Braden River Historical Society and friends set out on kayaks, motor boats and pontoon boats early April 17 for the Great American Cleanup of the Braden River. Participants collected about 300 pounds of trash, including an assortment of aluminum cans, plastic bottles, buckets, fishing line and other trash.
