The fallen heroes and military memorial originally proposed for Lakewood Ranch Main Street may now find a home at Lakewood Ranch Town Hall.
Lakewood Ranch Community Development District 2 supervisors are slated to hear a proposal to place the memorial in front of Town Hall at their meeting Thursday morning.
The project’s originator, Gene Sweeney, has already worked out arrangements so the memorial will be constructed and maintained at no cost to the district.
