Braden River Elementary School’s Kindergarten Round-up event will be from 4-7 p.m., tonight at the school.
The event is open to students who will be turning 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2010 and reside in the school’s attendance zone.
To register their child, parents will need to bring their child’s original birth certificate, a state of Florida health form with a physical within the past 12 months, a state of Florida immunization form and proof of residence, such as a water or electric bill.
Braden River also will showcase the work of students in second through fifth grade tonight for Science Night, as student display their individual or partner science projects throughout the school.

MTI hosts 9/11 blood drive
As the nation remembers the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, Manatee Technical Institute will commemorate the tragedy with a blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 10 and Sept. 11, at its main campus, 6305 State Road 70 East, in front of Braden River High Schol.
