Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a string of vehicle burglarized that occurred April 5 in the 5100 block of Caruso Road in the Horseshoe Cove RV Resort.
A sheriff’s office report states a deputy was dispatched around 8:20 a.m. in reference to a stolen golf cart, which was located later in the day at Braden River High School’s baseball fields.
Throughout the afternoon, however, the sheriff’s office was dispatched to seven more homes in the community for vehicle burglaries. In all incidents, the vehicles were left unlocked.
Items stolen included three GPS systems, a laptop computer, fishing poles and Canadian currency.
