Organizers have been hard at work, eager to bring the luck of the Irish this weekend to the East County.
Lakewood Ranch Community Activities Co. will host the Irish Celtic Festival and Lucky Dog Parade from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at Central Park in Lakewood Ranch.
Come out for a full lineup of Irish Celtic musical and dance entertainment, including karaoke, dancers and pipers. Children's activities include a "Pot of Gold" scavenger hunt, face painting, spud-head decorating, pony rides, balloons and more.
The Lucky Dog Parade will give Lakewood Ranch residents to show off their pups in Irish-themed attire.
Food and drink will be available for purchase.
