Owners and employees at Mixon Fruit Farms have been busy getting ready for the harvest season, as well as a celebration of this year's citrus crop. The farm will host its annual Orange Blossom Festival March 2 and March 3.
Visitors can visit arts and crafts booths, purchase food, participate in children's rides and activites and more. Individuals also can see the farm's wildlife rescue, while taking a tram tour through the citrus groves.
Entertainment includes performances by the Ancient Ways Dance Group, the Starfire Dancers and the Yesterdayze Band, among others.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, at the farm, 2525 27th St. E., Bradenton.
More festival activities will continue from 6 to 9 p.m March 6 with a concert by The Masquerade & Jimmy Mazz and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 8, with a Health & Business Fair.
