Polo players will mount their steeds this weekend and take aim, during the Observer Group Cup.
Gates open at 10 a.m. for tailgating and the match starts at 1 p.m. at the Sarasota Polo Club, 8201 Polo Club Lane, Sarasota.
Entry to the polo match costs $12 at the gate for adults; children ages 12 and under are free.
The Observer Group is presenting the Schroeder-Manatee Ranch 12-Goal Tournament and the best playing pony award.
The day also features the SMR Cup, where cowboys from SMR and polo players compete in the final event of the weekend, with a full-speed horse race down the middle of the field at half time.
