Founded by stylist Coral Pleas, the salon has grown from a staff of four to 50.

The salon has received numerous accolades; Salon Today magazine recognized it in 2011, 2012 and 2013 as a Top 200 Salon in America, and it was voted “Best Hair Salon” by Living on the Suncoast in 2012.
Cutting Loose is a member of Intercoiffure America/Canada.
