Lakewood Ranch Main Street soon will be adding another tenant to its mix.
Owners of Serendipity Boutique & Formalwear, a new bridal boutique, signed a lease Feb. 1 for a unit near Soma.
The new shop is expected to open March 1, said Julia DeCastro, property manager for Main Street and director of leasing for Lakewood Ranch Commercial Realty.
It will carry bridal gowns, prom dresses and formalwear.
"I think it will be a great declinational store I think that it will bring new customers and people from around Sarasota, Bradenton and Tampa to Main Street and Lakewood Ranch," DeCastro said. "I think it is a great tie in with Polo Grill and the Ballroom (which caters weddings) and Pastries by Design (which makes wedding cakes). Brides can book their reception buy their wedding cake and their dress all in one location."
