Manatee County deputies report $24,000 worth of jewelry and watches was stolen from a home in the Waterlefe community Monday.
It marks the second time in a little over a week that a home on the 900 block of Fish Hook Cove in Bradenton had jewelry and watches stolen from it.
On Jan. 19, deputies reported $60,000 worth of jewelry and watches was stolen from a three-story home in Waterlefe.
A sheriff's report for the Jan. 28 incident states the burglar or burglars entered the home through the front door by prying it open. Once inside, they ransacked the entire home.
The buglars stole watches and jewelry from a bedroom, before fleeing the scene.
No neighbors saw the incident occur.
There are no known suspects or video recordings of the incident.
Dave Bristow, Manatee Co. Sheriff's PIO, said the two burglaries occurred at different residences on the 900 block of Fish Hook Cove in Waterlefe. He is unsure if they are related.
