Creekwood residents celebrated Memorial Day one day early with a dedication of its Veterans Monument and flag-raising ceremony May 29. Lakewood Ranch High School's JROTC presented the colors, and Creekwood scouts led the Pledge of Allegiance. The community enjoyed a picnic following the ceremony.
