The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in a home invasion robbery that occurred in the Fairfax community Dec. 12.
Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Dave Bristow today said Centrell Turner, 31, was arrested in Orlando today and charged with home invasion robbery and false imprisonment in the case.
He has been transported to the Manatee County Jail with a total bond of $125,000, Bristow said.
Sheriff's Office reports from Dec. 12 state the suspect rang the doorbell of a home in the 4300 block of Fairfax Drive, in the East County, and then forced his way into the residence when the homeowner opened the door. The suspect demanded money and other items. He forced the victim into her bedroom closet and then fled.
