Lakewood Ranch today announced the addition of a new builder to its roster.
Taylor Morrison Inc. will develop Esplanade, a 450-home neighborhood north of State Road 70 on 195 acres. Construction of Esplanade will begin in mid-2011, with sales slated to begin in the first quarter of 2012.
“We are excited to introduce our popular, single-story, maintenance-free villas and single-family homes in Esplanade at Lakewood Ranch,” said Taylor Morrison Division President Steve Kempton. “We see Lakewood Ranch as the perfect location for our newest endeavor.”
Esplanade, a gated community, will feature amenities including a fitness facility, gathering room, craft room, card and media room, catering kitchen, billiard room, library, heated resort-style pool and spa, two lighted har-tru tennis courts, formal event lawn, dog park and miles of walking trails.
Taylor Morrison will offer homes ranging in from 1,400 to 2,700 square feet on 42-, 52- and 62-foot lots.
“We are pleased and excited to be able to offer this type of product in the Lakewood Ranch market for the first time, and by such a well-known and highly respected builder like Taylor Morrison,” said Milt Flinn, LWR Communities president.
