An array of music will add to the everyday bustle of downtown from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 3, as the monthly Music on Main event gets underway on Lakewood Ranch Main Street,.
Melanie Massell and Hot Item will play songs ranging from fast-paced country music to jazz and blues tunes, during the three-hour concert. While the concert is free, proceeds from food and beer sales will benefit the Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy.
Although coolers aren't permitted, guests are welcome to bring chairs and leashed dogs.
Parking is offered at the plaza, with overflow parking options available across the street at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center.
