Aaron and Kathy Corr founded TreeUmph! Adventure Course in rural Manatee County. Scheduled to open later this year, the park features five adult courses, from beginner to extreme; a children’s course, for ages 7 and up; and 650-foot long zip line. -
Romain Barachko, an employee with Outplay Adventures, works on TreeUmph! Adventure Course in east Manatee County. Local entrepreneurs Aaron and Kathy Corr hired Outplay to build the park on 14 acres. -
"The parks are very, very safe," owner Aaron Corr says. "You're always clipped in at least two times to a cable that could hold a city bus."

Dancing group to host fundraiser

Members of KC and the Sunshine Dancers, a group of Manatee County dancers ages 8 to 20, will show off their dancing skills in jazz, hip-hop and contemporary dance from 7 to 9 p.m. May 28, as the group holds a show titled "Breaking Ground."
