East County celebrates all things Scottish

Crowds filled Lakewood Ranch Main Street from 4-9 p.m., Nov. 21 for the St. Andrew’s Scottish Festival hosted by MacAllisters Grill & Tavern. Festivities included golf demonstrations, samplings of Scottish cuisine and musical performances by the local band Chameleon and country music star David Nail.
Runners hustle for charity

A record number of runners turned out for this year’s Harvest Hustle 5K event held at Harvest United Methodist Church in Lakewood Ranch. Proceeds from the event benefited the Food Bank of Manatee County.
