Hundreds of women gathered in the Fete Ballroom at The Polo Grill and Bar today for the Lakewood Ranch Women's Club's fourth annual luncheon and fashion show.This year's event raised money for Meals on Wheels PLUS, SOLVE Maternity Homes and the Sarasota Manatee Association for Riding Therapy.

East County families crowded onto Lakewood Ranch Main Street April 10 for the third annual Spring into Summer Fun Day. The event, hosted by Manasota Family & Kids, benefited Beyond the Spectrum, a non-profit that offers behavioral therapy and other services to families of children with autism.

Sarasota County and Benderson Development welcomed hundreds of collegiate rowers to Nathan Benderson Park this weekend for the Florida Intercollegiate Championship Rowing Regatta April 9-10. A special barbecue dinner was held Friday night.
